.One point I’d like to make regarding the town taking over the street lights: in Dana Heights the town took over the natural gas street lights and there is no maintenance and almost no repair. There are many lights out and untold number of lights with one mantle out or worn to nothing. All that natural gas is going into the atmosphere, polluting and wasted.

.Just curious about the leaf pickup; I live on Tristan and we’ve not had one pickup yet, but others in Snyder have had several. I’d like to know how that is determined.

.To the candidates of the recent election: please remove your signs, as the election is over. There are at least seven signs for one candidate alone on Youngs Road between Klein and Casey. Let’s clean up the streets!

.The picture of Susan Grelick in The Amherst Bee on Election Day at the CSEA offices explains whose interests she was representing.

.We all know about the emperor without clothes. What about the town board that is too big for their britches?

.To the person who called about the highway department notifying people not to pile leaves in the street, I think you should be more concerned about why the leaves have not been picked up and will now remain here until spring, ruining our lawns and hampering snow plowing.
