BNSME plans Entrepalooza 2010’ in Niagara Falls

The Buffalo Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives will host “Entrepalooza 2010,” beginning with registration at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 20, at the Seneca Niagara Casino and Hotel, 310 Fourth St., Niagara Falls. The event will feature guest speakers from Afterburner, retired military professionals who revolutionize ways of looking at and doing business. Warde Manuel, athletic director at the University at Buffalo, also will speak. The cost is $180 for nonmembers and $150 for members, which includes morning seminars, luncheon and cocktail party. Best-selling author to discuss celebrity branding

The Buffalo Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives will present a May dinner event with featured guest speaker Nick Nanton, “The Celebrity Lawyer,” at 5:15 p.m. Monday, May 24, at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott, 1340 Millersport Highway, Amherst. Nanton, co-author of the best-selling books “Celebrity Branding You!” and “Big Ideas for Your Business” will teach business owners to become the experts in their business community and how to gain “celebrity status.” The cost is $15 for students, $35 for nonmembers and no charge for members. SCORE offers small business workshops

The Buffalo Chapter of SCORE will offer a low-cost workshop designed to provide practical business information for current or prospective business owners called “Starting and Managing Your Own Business,” f ro m 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at the North Tonawanda Public Library, 505 Meadow Drive, North Tonawanda. The cost is $30 per person, $25 with a SCORE counselor coupon and free for veterans. Reservations are required.
