Bidding documents will be delivered by UPS upon request and receipt of an additional non-refundable delivery and handling charge of $15 payable by separate check. Make check payable to Trautman Associates.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Payment procedures and additional requirements are defined in the contract documents.

Bidders are required to furnish a Proposal Guaranty of 10 percent of the amount of the Proposal, either by bank cashier's check, payable to the Owner, or by Bid Bond, conforming to law, and satisfactory to Owner.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing will be held by the Amherst Town Board in the Town of Amherst Municipal Building, 5583 Main Street, Williamsville, New York 14221 on September 26, 2011 at 7:00 PM, to hear all persons, for or against, a request to prohibit parking for a distance of 2,850 feet along the south side of International Drive between Essjay Road and Sheridan Drive.

“Parking is hereby restricted on the south side of International Drive for a distance of 2,850 feet between Essjay Road and Sheridan Drive."

All persons interested in said consideration may attend at this time and be heard.

ON PROPOSED ADOPTION OF

LOCAL LAW

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Amherst on September 26, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, at the Amherst Municipal Building, 5583 Main Street, Williamsville, New York 14221, to hear all persons interested in a proposed Local Law entitled “A Local Law Regulating Open Burning.”

This Local Law would create Chapter 36 of the Code of the Town of Amherst with respect to the regulation of open burning within the Town of Amherst.

Copies of the proposed Local Law are available for inspection at the Office of the Amherst Town Clerk, 5583 Main Street, Williamsville, New York 14221, during regular business hours. This notice is provided pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law, Town Law §§130 and 133 and Chapter 28 of the Code of the Town of Amherst.

All persons in favor or opposed to the proposed Local Law are asked to appear at the above time and place.
