The most recent addition opened on Jan. 21 at 5989 Transit Road, East Amherst.

Owner Sarah Elia explained why Elements is different from other massage studios in Western New York, noting that its focus is totally on massage.

“We do a lot of deep tissue, Swedish massage, sports massage, trigger point, pregnancy and much more,” she said. “We really try to customize things with whatever issues you are having. When you call, we really try to match you with the best therapist to meet your needs.”

According to Elia, there are six trained therapists at Elements who are trained for different types of massages. Expanding it to 12 therapists is something Elia wants to do in the future.

“No one wants to come in and be the 10th massage of the day, so we don’t want to overwork our therapist,” she said. “Because they specialize in massage, the wellness of our therapists is very important to us.”

Elements offers one-hour, 90-minute and two-hour massages with the price depending on the type of massage. Elia believes in treating each customer to his or her specific requests.

“We understand that people have different needs and what they are looking for,” Elia said. “Sometimes, it is a one-time thing and that is all they need. Other times, it could be something where they need to come in regularly.”

Elia is very pleased by the positive feedback Elements Massage has gotten in its first two months.

“I think we have a great location. Our studio has a great culture and a very relaxed setting,” she said. “The feedback so far has been nothing but positive from this community, and we really appreciate it. We listen to our customers and make it a priority to focus on what they need.”

Elements Massage is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
