Dance society slates open house at BNHV

The Victorian Dance Society open house will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village, 3755 Tonawanda Creek Road, Amherst. There will be Victorian dance demonstrations, the teaching of several Victorian dances, discussion of Victorian dance, music, dress and etiquette. Group to present musical program

The Retired Men’s Chorus will present a musical program at 10:30 a.m. during the next meeting of the Beechwood Service Guild on Wednesday, March 1, at the Beechwood Residence, 2235 Millersport Highway, Getzville.

PTSA to host dinner by BW Barbecue

Sweet Home High School PTSA will host a fish, shrimp and chicken finger dinner at the school, 1901 Sweet Home Road, from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 31. Dinners will be cooked onsite by BW Barbecue. Dinners can be ordered in the main foyer of the school. Proceeds will benefit Scholarships for Seniors.

Amherst Book Club slates meeting

The Amherst Book Club will host a luncheon at noon Thursday, March 2, at the Fairdale Banquet Center at 672 Wehrle Drive, Amherst. After the luncheon there will be a review of Kevin Guest House by Gerald Halligan. For further information, call Mary Carroll at 836-0056.
